Mental health advocate to visit Canisius

Want to meet a former NHL player for free? Curious about the importance of mental health? Then come see guest speaker Clint Malarchuk, former goaltender for the Buffalo Sabres, as he speaks to the Canisius community about his life-changing skating accident and the struggles he faced with anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and depression that followed.

Tickets will be free of charge and can be picked up outside of Economou Dining Hall beginning April 17 until April 19 for undergraduate students. All other members of the Canisius community may pick up their tickets starting April 20. There is a one ticket per person limit and members must present a Canisius ID in order to receive one. The event will be held on Tuesday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Public Health Committee of the Undergraduate Student Association and Canisius College Athletics.
